Traveling to Catanduanes, the Land of the Howling Winds? Before you book your tickets, please check the following requirements for a hassle-free trip.
The Province of Catanduanes is in Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) status from March 1-31, 2021. Inbound and outbound travels are allowed. In general, the Provincial Government does not anymore require the mandatory 14-day quarantine except for those with symptoms, and reiterates strict observance of the minimum health standards. All inbound passengers are required to present either StaySafe or Traze QR Code for contact tracing. Those without smartphones are mandated to fill-up contact tracing forms.
Note, however, that municipal and barangay local government units may require additional requirements which is respected by virtue of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases Resolution No. 101.
For Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI):
- Proof of Residence including but not limited to government issued identification cards (IDs) and company IDs
For Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF):
- Proof of Residence including but not limited to government issued identification cards (IDs) and company IDs
For Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR):
- Identification Cards
- Travel Authority
- Travel Itinerary
- Must pass symptoms screening at ports of entry and exit
For Tourists and Other Visitors to the Province
- Identification Cards
- Negative RT-PCR Test with a validity of three days from date of issuance
- Must pass symptoms screening at ports of entry and exit
