The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol records three (3) new confirmed cases Tuesday, April 28 leading to a total of 38 cases. The newly affected individuals are all frontliners. Current confirmed cases are six (6).
The 36th confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 28-year old Filipino female from Legazpi City, Albay. Her history of exposure is still being established. Onset of illness was on March 30, 2020. She consulted on April 27, 2020 at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH). Said patient is a health worker.
A 54-year old Filipino male from Legazpi City, Albay is the 37th confirmed case of the COVID-19 in the Region. He is asymptomatic. Said patient consulted on April 27, 2020 and is in a facility quarantine. Bicol#37 is a frontliner.
Bicol#38 is a 56 year-old Filipino female from Ligao City, Albay. Her history of exposure is still being established. The Albay Provincial Health Office facilitated patient’s swab on April 27, 2020. Bicol#38 is currently asymptomatic, and is a health worker. Said patient is the first confirmed case in her city.On test results released today
On forty-five (45) test results released Tuesday, forty-one (41) tested negative while four (4) are positive. Apart from the three (3) new confirmed cases, Bicol#35’s test result is still positive for COVID-19 as of date. On negative results, Bicol#16 who was reported positive last April 9, 2020, now tested negative for COVID-19.
