Bicol Region’s confirmed cases ,as of April 17, 2020 (5PM), remain at nineteen (19) according to the Department of Health Center for Health Development in Bicol (DOH CHD-Bicol). No new positive cases are recorded.

DOH CHD Bicol records, however, two newPersons Under Investigation. Total number of PUIs recorded is 196. Four (4) PUIs are awaiting results while 173 have tested negative for COVID-19.

Total confirmed cases in the Philippines, meanwhile, is 5,878 following the discovery of 218 cases. Deaths under Covid is now at 387.

The Philippines remains on top of the list of Southeast Asian countries with the highest number of Covid positive patients. Indonesia remains second with 5,516 while Malaysia remains third with 5,182. Deaths are 498 and 84, respectively.
