The Department of Health Center for Health Development – Bicol DOH-CHD) discovered additional 3 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Region bringing the total to 10 ss of 5:00 in the afternoon of April 1, 2020.

The eight (8th) confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 65-year old Filipino male from Albay. He is a close contact of a COVID-19 positive. He consulted at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH).

The ninth (9th) confirmed case of COVID is also a close contact of a COVID-19 positive. He is a 40-year old Filipino male from Albay and also consulted at BRTTH after experiencing mild symptoms.

A 43-year old Filipino male from Albay is the tenth (10th) COVID-19 positive. He has a travel history from Manila and is admitted at BRTTH.

The Department of Health Center for Health Development – Bicol reiterates to the public to strictly follow enhanced community quarantine procedures. Stay at home and do not go out unless needed. Everyone’s cooperation is needed in this time of crisis.
