Irosin: History in Verse

Natapos na su PPSA pero su research ko manungod sa mga Imperial sa Albay asin man sa nakaagi kan Bikol padagos pa giraray. And as I do so, I accidentally stumbled on this cute presentation of the history of the town of Irosin in Sorsogon. The presentation is in Bikol verse with an English translation. It is composed of 306 stanzas plus an additional seven for the epilogue. The whole presentation can be found here but i took the opportunity to present some selected stanzas below.

  1. I’m doing a paper on this for that conference I forwarded, along with another poet’s documentation in verse of the history of his town. Really, interesting.
