The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol records thirty-six (36) new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Bicol Region is now 655. Active cases are 378.
Of the 36 new cases, 10 are from Camarines Sur (5 Sipocot, 1 Buhi, 1 San Jose, 1 Canaman, 1 Iriga City, 1 Pili), 9 from Masbate (4 Baleno, 2 Masbate City, 2 Aroroy, 1 Dimasalang), 8 from Albay (4 Legazpi City, 4 Daraga), 4 from Catanduanes (3 Virac, 1 Baras),4 from Naga City, and 1 from Sorsogon (Pilar).

The newly discovered cases are part of the 388 test results received by DOH CHD-Bicol on Saturday. 308 of these results are from the Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while 80 are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Meanwhile, the total number of cases nationwide is 126,885. The National Capital Region (NCR) has 69,434 Covid-19 cases — the highest among the regions in the country. This is followed by Region VII (Central Visayas) with 17,405 cases, and Region IV (MIMAROPA) with 15,451.
Total Covid-19 active cases are 57,559. The total number of recoveries are 67,117 while deaths are2,209.
