As of July 10, 2020 (8PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are two hundred fifteen (215).

On recoveries

Bicol#91 and Bicol#92, both from Naga City are the new recoveries for today. Active cases are one hundred twenty-two (122).

On test results received

A total of two hundred fifty-eight (258) test results were received today. One hundred eighty-two (182) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while seventy-six (76) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).

Of the 258 test results, one (1) is invalid, and seven (7) are positive. Of the seven (7) new cases, Balud town in Masbate and Talisay, Camarines Norte record their first confirmed cases. Additional two (2) from Aroroy, Masbate, one (1) Legazpi City, one (1) Tabaco City, and one (1) from Daet, Camarines Norte.

The positive cases are identified as follows:

• Bicol#209 – 60-year old Filipino male from Legazpi City, Albay. His history of exposure and travel is for verification. He first experienced symptoms on July 1, 2020. He is admitted at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH).

• Bicol#210 – a 54-year old Filipino female from Aroroy, Masbate. She is a close contact of patients with local codes Bicol#97, Bicol#152, Bicol#153, Bicol#167-Bicol#173. Her history of travel is for verification. Bicol#210 is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in the municipality.

• Bicol#211 – a 23-year old Filipino male from Aroroy, Masbate. He arrived from Rizal on June 20, 2020. He had an exposure to Bicol#97, Bicol#152, Bicol#153, Bicol#167-Bicol#173. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in the municipality.

• Bicol#212 – a 19- year old Filipino male from Balud, Masbate. He arrived from Quezon City on June 20, 2020. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in his municipality.

• Bicol#213 – a 23-year old Filipino male from Tabaco City, Albay. He arrived from Taguig City on July 3, 2020. He first experienced symptoms on July 6, 2020. He is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in the city.

• Bicol#214 – a 40-year old Filipino male from Talisay, Camarines Norte. He arrived from Cavite on July 1, 2020. He first experienced symptoms on July 4, 2020. He is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility. Bicol#214 is a tricycle driver.

• Bicol#215 – a 23-year old Filipino female from Daet, Camarines Norte. She arrived from Pasig City on July 5, 2020, same day she first experienced symptoms. She is admitted at a Municipal Isolation Unit.

Breakdown of 250 negative results:
Albay PHO – 25, BRTTH – 6, BMC – 4, Camarines Norte – 15, Camarines Sur – 25, Catanduanes – 6, CSPMC – 9, Masbate – 75, Legazpi CHO – 64, and CESO Naga – 21.

On probable and suspect cases

Bicol Region has three (3) suspects – one (1) from Albay, and two (2) from Sorsogon. The one (1) probable case is from Albay.
