The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol reported on Thursday, July 9, ten (10) new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases recorded in Bicol Region is now two hundred eight (208). Active cases are one hundred seventeen (117).

Of the ten (10) new cases, Mandaon, Masbate registers first 2 cases, additional one (1) for Virac, Catanduanes and seven (7) from Naga City.

• Bicol#199 – a 52-year old Filipino female from Naga City, Camarines Sur. Her history of exposure or travel is for verification. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined.

• Bicol#200 – a 24-year old Filipino male from Naga City, Camarines Sur. His history of exposure is for validation. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined.

• Bicol#201 – an 18-year old Filipino female from Naga City, Camarines Sur. Her history of exposure or travel is for verification. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined.

• Bicol#202 – a 20-year old Filipino male from Naga City, Camarines Sur. His history of exposure is for verification. He first experienced symptoms on June 30, 2020. He is quarantined. Bicol#202 is a helper.

• Bicol#203 – a 46-year old Filipino female from Naga City, Camarines Sur. Her history of exposure or travel is for validation. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined. Bicol#203 is an embroiderer.

• Bicol#204 – a 20-year old Filipino female from Naga City, Camarines Sur. Her history of exposure or travel is for verification. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined.

• Bicol#205 – a 2-year old Filipino male from Virac, Catanduanes. He arrived from Rizal on June 29, 2020. He is a close contact of Bicol#151. He first manifested symptoms on July 4, 2020. He is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.

• Bicol#206 – a 4-year old Filipino male from Mandaon, Masbate. He arrived from Subic, Zambales on June 27, 2020. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in his municipality.

• Bicol#207 – a 29-year old Filipino female from Mandaon, Masbate. She arrived from Subic, Zambales on June 27, 2020. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in her municipality.

• Bicol#208 – a 17-year old Filipino male from Naga City, Camarines Sur. His history of exposure and travel is for verification. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined.

Releasing of other details about the said patients is at the discretion of the Local Government Units (LGUs) concerned guided by the provisions of the Data Privacy Act.
