As of July 8, 2020 (8PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are one hundred ninety-eight (198). the current number of active cases 107.
A total of two hundred thirty-five (235) test results were released Thursday 164 of which are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while 71 are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC). Of these results, 8 came out positive of Covid-19. Three of these are from Ligao City, two are from Pilar, Sorsogon, and one each from Naga City, Sipocot and Tinambac, all in Camarines Sur.
The details of the eight cases are as follows:
- Bicol#191 – a 43-year old Filipino male from Pilar, Sorsogon. He arrived from Quezon City on June 27, 2020, same day he first experienced symptoms. He is currently quarantined at Putiao quarantine facility. Bicol#191 is a security guard.
- Bicol#192 – a 36-year old Filipino lady guard from Pilar, Sorsogon. She arrived from Quezon on June 27, 2020. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at Putiao quarantine facility.
- Bicol#193 – a 43-year old Filipino male from Naga City, Camarines Sur. He arrived from Caloocan on July 4, 2020. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined.
- Bicol#194 – a 52-year old Filipino female from Sipocot, Camarines Sur. She arrived from Navotas City, Manila on June 27, 2020. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in his municipality. Bicol#194 is a church worker.
- Bicol#195 – a 38-year old Filipino male from Tinambac, Camarines Sur. He is a close contact of Bicol#110. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in his province. Bicol#195 is a correction officer.
- Bicol#196 – a 27-year old Filipino female from Ligao City, Albay. She arrived from Las Piñas on June 25, 2020. She had an exposure to Bicol#95. She first experienced symptoms on July 3, 2020. She is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in her city.
- Bicol#197 – a 23-year old Filipino female from Ligao City, Albay. She arrived from Laguna on July 4, 2020. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in the city. Bicol#197 is a housewife.
- Bicol#198 – a 23-year old Filipino female from Ligao City, Albay. She arrived from Las Piñas on June 25, 2020. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility in the city.

Albay PHO – 72, BRTTH – 27, BMC – 3, BRGHGMC – 1, Camarines Norte – 10, Camarines Sur – 30, Catanduanes – 4, Sorsogon – 49, CESU Legazpi – 5, CESO Naga – 23 and NICC – 1.
On recoveries
Bicol#86(Health Worker) from Oas, Albay, Bicol#87 from Bagamanoc, Catanduanes, Bicol#88 from Tiwi, Albay, and Bicol#90 from Legazpi City Albay are the new recoveries for today. Active cases are one hundred seven (107).
On probable and suspect cases
The one (1) suspect case and one (1) probable case in Bicol Region are from Albay.
