29 June Bicol Covid Update: 2 new cases, 2 new recoveries

The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol reports two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 bringing the total of COVID-19 confirmed cases recorded in Bicol Region to 110

The 109th confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 43-year old Filipino male from Naga City. He had a history of exposure to patients with local codes Bicol#91 and Bicol#92. Bicol#109 is asymptomatic and is quarantined. He is a construction worker.

Bicol#110 also has a history of exposure to Bicol#91 and Bicol#92. He also has travel history from Laguna and arrived in Bicol on June 14, 2020. Bicol#110 is a 38-year old Filipino male from Tinambac, Camarines Sur. He first experienced symptoms on June 23, 2020 and is also quarantined. Bicol#110 is self-employed.

Meanwhile, Bicol#79, a 26-year old female from Guinobatan, Albay, Bicol#84, a 50-year old male from Legazpi City, Albay and Bicol#85, a 31-year old male from Lupi, Camarines Sur, are the new recoveries for today. Active cases are twenty-seven (27).

A total of thirty (30) test results were received today. All are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC). As to breakdown of the negative results: 13 are from BMC, 9 are from CSPMC and 6 from Naga CHO.

Update on Active Cases

Bicol#99, a 35-year old Filipino male who was initially reported from Canaman, Camarines Sur is now residing in Naga City where he serves as a frontliner. Hence, case count will be in Naga City.

National Covid Situation

Meanwhile, the Covid cases in the Philippines continue to increase. Total number of Covid positive Filipinos is 36,438 with with 1,255 deaths and 9,956 recovered.
