A total of 267 locally stranded individuals arrived in two batches via the Philippine National Railways (PNR) last June 20 and 25 through the government’s “Hatid Probinsya” program.

The LSIs from various Bicol provinces embarked at Ragay Station (Camarines Norte), Libmanan Station (Camarines Sur), Naga City Station (Naga City), Iriga City (Camarines Sur) and Ligao City Station (Masbate, Catanduanes, Sorsogon and Albay).

Arriving stranded individuals shall undergo screening and quarantine by the receiving local government units (LGUs) before going back to their respective homes.

The program is led by the Presidential Management Staff (PMS) and in coordination with the local government units.
