24 June Bicol Covid Update: Cases remain at 90

As of June 24, 2020 (8PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region remain at 90. Active cases are thirteen (13).

209 test results are also released Wednesday all of which are negative for COVID-19. 160 of these are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while 49 are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).

As to the breakdown of 209 negative results: 65 are from the swab tests from the Albay Provincial Health Office, 46 are from CESU Legazpi, 36 are from the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital, 25 are from the Bicol Medical Center, 10 are from Camarines Norte, 12 each from Sorsogon and Camarines Sur, and one each from CESU Naga, Catanduanes and USI.

Bicol Region has five (5) suspects- two (2) from Albay while three (3) are from Catanduanes.

Total Covid-19 cases in the Philippines, meanwhile, is now at 31,825. Of this number, 8,442 have recovered and 1,186.

Worldwide, the total number of cases is now at 9.24 million with 4.61 million recoveries and 477 thousand deaths. The highest number of cases is still in the United States with 2.39 million.
