The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol reports one (1) new confirmed case of COVID-19. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is now eighty-six (86). Current confirmed cases are eleven (11).
The 86th confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 37-year old Filipino male from Oas, Albay who had a history of exposure to patient with local code Bicol#78. He is asymptomatic and is currently quarantined. His swab was facilitated by Albay Provincial Health Office. Bicol#86 is a nurse and the 28th health worker to test positive for COVID-19 in the region.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 cases all over the country is now at 27,799 with 1,116 deaths and 7,090 recoveries.
Worldwide, total cases is 8.06 million 2.21 million of which is from the United States. Deaths from COVID-19 is 440 thousand.
