02 June Bicol Covid Update: Positive cases remains at 75

The Department of Health Center for Health Development in Bicol (DOH-CHD), confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bicol remains at 75. All test results received Tuesday yielded negative for COVID-19.

A total of seventy-five (75) test results were also received Tuesday and all of these yielded for Covid-19. Of the total results, 64 are from the Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while 11 are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).

The results are from the following: Albay – 2, BMC – 4, BRTTH – 41, Camarines Sur Provincial Medical Center (CSPMC) – 2, Legazpi – 21, Mother Seton Hospital – 1, and Naga CHO – 4.

On recoveries: Bicol#26, and Bicol#29 both healthworkers from Camarines Sur are fully recovered.

On Suspects and Probable: Bicol Region has five (5) suspects – two (2) from Albay and three (3) from Sorsogon.

Meanwhile, Covid cases in the Philippines is now at 18,997. Recoveries are noted at 4,063 and deaths are 996.

The Philippines continue to remain third in Southeast Asia in terms of Covid-19 cases next to Singapore and Indonesia.
