As of Thursday, May 21, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the region remain at 68.

Patient with local code Bicol#52, a 26-year old Physician from Daraga, Albay yielded his 1st negative result via RT-PCR. Said patient is clinically recovered and for facility quarantine for 14 days and repeat swab thereafter. Current confirmed cases are 18.

Nationwide, the total number of cases increased to 13,434. Recovery is only at 3,000 with 846 deaths.

The Philippines continue to rank third in Southeast Asia in terms of Covid 19 cases. Singapore ranks first followed by Indonesia.
