As of Sunday, May 10, the Department of Health Center for Health Development in Bicol (DOH CHD-Bicol) announced that the number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Region 5 remains at fifty-nine (59).
The total number of active confirmed cases is nineteen (19).
On Suspects & Probable Covid-19 cases, Bicol Region currently has twenty-seven (27) suspects – 18 in Albay, 2 in Camarines Norte, 3 in Camarines Sur, and 4 in Sorsogon. Bicol also has seven (7) probable – 5 in Albay and two (2) in Catanduanes.
The DOH central office, however, recorded 184 new Covid-19 cases bringing the total number of cases to 10,794. The number of people who died of Covid-19 is now at 719 while those who recovered totals 1,924.
The Philippines remain on the third rank in terms of Covid-19 cases in Southeast Asia. Singapore and Indonesia remains at the first and second rank, respectively.
