The Department of Health Center for Health Development – Bicol (DOH CHD-Bicol) reports that of the 63 test results released on Thursday, May 7, 62 tested negative while one (1) yielded positive for COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Bicol is now at fifty (50). Current confirmed cases are eleven (11).
The fiftieth (50th) confirmed case of COVID-19 in Bicol Region is a 64-year old Filipino female from Daraga, Albay. She first experienced symptoms on May 3, 2020 and is now admitted at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH Patient’s history of exposure is still being established. Bicol#50 is the 15th health worker and the 2nd physician to test positive on COVID-19 in the Region.
