Mae Diane Azores, the 2019 bar topnotcher, is a graduate of University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi. Her father is a jeepney driver-turned-operator and while her mother works as accountant in a local health clinic.
Azores is a product of public school system. She earned her accountancy degree in Bicol University as her pre-law course. After graduating in Accountancy, she worked with the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Region 5 and transferred to the Commission on Audit as a Finance Analyst when she became a Certified Accountant. She studied law while working at the same time.
