Four local government units (LGUs) in the province of Camarines Sur and one in Sorsogon completed the distribution of Social Amelioration Program funds to their respective beneficiaries as of April 23, 2020 according to the Bicol Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The Camarines Sur LGUs are Siruma, Bombon, Garchitorena, Ocampo and Ragay while the lone municipality in LGU is Casiguran.
Ligao City in Albay is also nearing completion with 99.35% followed by Tigaon in Camarines Sur with 98.28%.
San Vicente, Camarines Norte and Bagamanoc, Catanduanes also made it to the top 10 with 97.89% and 94.95% accomplishment, respectively.
Total SAP beneficiaries in the region excluding the beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) is 320,696 families.
4Ps beneficiciaries, meanwhile, that were able to receive from SAP is 319,374.
