Buhi CamSur impounds vehicles of ECQ violators

The Buhi, Camarines Sur Police Station warned motorists planning to violate the guidelines on enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) that in addition to the possible charges for violations of the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act (Republic Act No. 11469) they may be charged also will be charged for Violation of RA 4136 (LTO and Traffic Code) and risks their vehicles for impounding sans the necessary documents.

As per Republic Act 4136 or the Land Transportation act, it is an offense to drive motorized vehicles and cars without the appropriate documents such as drivers license and motorized vehicle registrations.

The Buhi Municipal Police Station already impounded vehicles including motorcycles and tricycles and warns that the local Philippine National police does not discriminate violators regardless of social status.
