The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol noted 6 new cases of COVID-19 positive as of 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 22. This makes a total of 34 positive cases in Region 5.
making a total of 34. Three (3) among them are health workers. The region now has thirty-four (34) confirmed cases recorded, and twelve (12) current confirmed cases.
Three of the newly discovered positive patients are health workers one each from Legazpi City, Camalig and Guinabatan all in the province of Albay. The other three are from Naga City, Tabaco City and Legazpi City.
Meanwhile, Singapore tops the list of Southeast Asian countries with 9,125 Covid-19 positive cases followed by Indonesia with 7,135. Death toll in Singapore is only 11 while the number is highest in Insdonesia with 616.
The Philippines, meanwhile, ranks third with 6,599 cases and 437 deaths.
