In line with the Covid-19 emergency, the local government unit (LGU) of Baao, Camarines Sur headed by Mayor Jeff Besinio will distribute free assorted seeds through its Municipal agriculture Office.
The seeds distribution, now on irs third batch, is part of the LGU’s response to achieve food security amidst the Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic and in support to the call of Agriculture Secretary William Dar’s “Available and Affordable Food for all Families”. The objective of this program is to implement the home garden for every household especially in urban areas.
The seeds will be distributed to the barangays through authorized barangay officials or representatives to avoid crowding and maintain social distancing. Walk-in clients are also welcome though not encouraged. The seeds cam be availed during office hours from Monday to Friday.
