20 April Bicol Covid Update: Positive cases remains at 25 with 2 deaths

As of April 20, 2020 (5PM), the Department of Health Center for Health Development- Bicol (DOH CHD – Bicol) reported a total number of 25 confirmed Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the region with 16 recoveries, and 2 deaths.

Current confirmed positive is 7.

In compliance with the Administrative Order 2020-0013, DOH CHD – Bicol has changed the report format based on the new classification on COVID-19.

DOH CHD – Bicol continually calls for a strong cooperation from the public. Stay at home and be vigilant. Use face mask, and observe social distancing when buying basic necessities.

Meanwhile, the Philippines was overtaken by Singapore and Malaysia in the number of Covid-19 cases in Southeast Asia. Singapore has 8,014 cases with 11 deaths; Indonesia has 6,760 cases with 590 deaths, and; the Philippines has 6,459 cases with 428 deaths.

Lao remains at the bottom of the list with 19 cases and no deaths followed by Myanmar with 107 cases and 4 deaths.
