Barcelona, Sorsogon operates ECQ Market

While the rolling stores of San Juan City revive the political feud between the Zamoras and Estradas, the people of Barcelona in Sorsogon stands united with the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) Market operated by the local government unit (LGU).

The LGU of Barcelona established the ECQ Market offering food and basic necessities at very low prices. Pork are sold at 150/kilo, rice at 25/kilo, eggs at 5/pc., somoked fish ((tinapa) at 50/kilo, coffee and sugar at 20% discounted price, and vegetables at 30% at 30% off the regular prices.

Earlier, the LGU had distributed food coupons worth P500 per familiy. These coupons can be used at the ECQ market.

The ECQ Market is operated following social distancing guidelines of the national government.
