As of 16 April 16 2020, confirmed case in Bicol Region remains at nineteen (19) with one new recovery bringing the total number of recoveries to sixteen (16).

A 66-year old female from Albay who tested negative for COVID-19 yesterday, is now discharged adding her to the list of patients who recovered from Coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

On Persons Under Investigation (PUIs), DOH CHD – Bicol reports 2 new PUIs bringing the total number of PUIs recorded to 194. 169 tested negative for COVID-19, while 6 are awaiting test results.

Meanwhile, the Philippines continue to be on the top of the list of countries in Southeast Asia for having the most number of positive Covid cases. As of this writing, the Philippines has 5,453 cases with 349 deaths.

Malaysia, which used to be on the second spot, was overtaken by Indonesia. Malaysia has 5,072 cases while Indonesia has 5,136 cases.
