The Department of Health Center for Health Development in Bicol (DOH CHD-Bicol) revealed on Sunday, April 12, that one new case has been added to list of confirmed patients with coronavirus disease (Covid-19) and another one as person under investigation (PUI)
The 18th confirmed case is a 28 year old female from Albay who had a history of exposure to a positive COVID-19 case. The latest patient is now currently admitted at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital.
Of the 18 cases, ten patients have already recovered, 1 died, 2 are on home quarantine and 5 are still admitted.
An additional Person Under Investigation (PUI) was also recorded bringing the total number of PUIs to 177. Of the total PUIs, 143 are already tested negative while 16 are awaiting results.
Meanwhile, the DOH CHD-Bicol continually calls on everyone to practice social distancing, maintaining at least one (1)-meter distance from other people, at all occasions.
