PNP Bikol adheres to the dismantling of barangay checkpoints along national highways and provincial roads

Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City— PNP Bikol will now be dismantling all barangay checkpoints along national provincial roads in compliance with the order of the DILG Secretary Eduardo Año to establish a uniform implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) guidelines for the prevention of the spread of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) and so as not to impede the movement of goods and essential personnel as provided by the IATF.

Checkpoints within the barangay roads will still be allowed but under the supervision of the PNP. All Chiefs of Police shall be responsible for ensuring compliance of all barangays in his AOR to IATF guidelines and the Authorized Person outside Residence (APOR) issued by JTF CV Shield.
