The controversies surrounding Governor Edgardo Tallado did not put him down to win another term in Camarines Norte’s gubernatorial race. Tallado generated 145,369 votes as against Catherine Barcelona-Reyes who got 101,643.
Tallado is with the Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) while Reyes is with the Liberal Party (LP)
Meanwhile, the Vice Gubernatorial race is still undecided as Jonah Pimentel (PDP-Laban) and Dong Padilla (National Unity Party) are still statistically tied with barely a thousand vote difference. Pimentel has 117,903 votes while Padilla has 116,939.
The tallies are based on 96.74% of the election returns transmitted to the Commission on Elections.
