Migz beats Nonoy Andaya in CamSur’s top post

Miguel “Migz” Villafuerte came up with a narrow margin in the Camarines Sur’s governatorial race beating Rolando “Nonoy” Andaya Jr., with barely 8,000 votes. The third candidate, Bishop Buenaflor of the PDDS barely scored with 5,592 votes.

Migz is with the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) while Andaya is with the Nationalist Peoples’ Coalition (NPC).

Migz’s running mate, Imelda Papin also beat Russel Banez of NPC with 66,000 votes. Independent candidate Edgar Avinado, meanwhile, got 20,145 votes.

The results are based on the partial unofficial results based on 98.03% election returns submitted to the Commission on Elections.
