Kho still rules in Masbate

Governor Antonio Kho and Ara Kho still rules Masbate by generating more than twice the votes of their respective opponents.

Tony Kho got 265,515 votes for governor while challenger Scott Lanete only gathered 121,709. Ara, who is competing in the vice gubernatorial race, also swept the votes with 249,417 while competitor Marvi Bravo was only was able to muster 114,206.

The Khos are running under the Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) while Lanete and Bravo are from the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) and National Unity Party (NUP) respectively.

In the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Diosdado Alim (PDP-Laban) and Bok Barzaga (NUP) also made it to the top two in the First Legislative District making them eligible to occupy a seat each.

In the Second District, Liberal Party’s (LP’s)Tata Danao, and PDP-Laban’s Jamon Espares, Kris Espinosa and Allan Cos also came out winners.

Independent candidate Jason Arevalo, NPC’s Angel Lanete and PDP-Laban’s Rudy Alvarez Jr., and George Gonzales Jr., were also assured of a seat each.
