But put aside your hopes. he is only the namesake of the TV personality. His real name is Jaime Delos Santos Abunda who is running as independent.

Abunda will be competing with Sangguniang Bayan hopefuls. Three of these are incumbent councilors.

In the mayoralty race, a rematch between Mayor Nory Segundo of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) and Agnes Ang of the National Unity Party (NUP) will be decided this May 13. Ang lost by around 700 votes in 2016.

Malyn Elimos (NUP), Radames Herrera (independent) and Jay Pimentel (PDP-Laban) are competing with each other to gain the vice mayoralty seat.
