The mayoralty race in San Lorenzo Ruiz, Camarines Norte, is a rematch between Nelson Delos Santos and Edgar Ramores. Delos Santos, who won in 2016 by less than a hundred votes is running under the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) while Ramores is under the National Unity Party (NUP).

The seat being vacated by Ma. Medina Villareal is being contested by the top-2 councilors in the 2016 elections — Arnulfo Bacuno (PDP-Laban) and Randy Francisco (NUP).

A total of 19 Sangguniang Bayan member hopefuls are running and three of them are incumbent councilors.
