It is a rematch in the San Lorenzo Ruiz, Camarines Norte, mayoralty race. Nelson Delos Santos and Edgar Ramores will face each other again but this time, under the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Laban ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) and National Unity Party (NUP), respectively. In 2016, Delos Santos ran under the Nationalist Peoples’ Coalition while Ramores was with the Liberal Party. The match was close with barely 400 vote-margin in favor of Delos Santos.

The vice mayoralty race is open. The top two vote-generating councilors in 2016, Arnulfo Bacuno  and Randy Francisco are coveting the seat. Bacuno is running under PDP Laban while Francisco is under NUP.

A total of 19 candidates aspire to have a seat in the Sangguniang Bayan. Three of these are incumbents. The complete list is as follows:
