In Tabaco City in Albay, the local elections is a battle between the Liberal Party (LP) and independent candidates (Ind).

City Mayor Krisel Lagman-Luistro is seeking reelection under the Liberal Party. She is being challenged by Peter Berces, an independent candidate. Luistro’s running mate, incumbent Vice Mayor Nestor San Pablo, though, has no contender.

In the race for Sangguniang Panlungsod, only five are of the ten councilors are seeking reelection. The incumbent councilors are running under LP except for one.
