Incumbents Mayor Nelson Bueza and Vice Mayor Edmundo Simando Jr., are both seeking re-election. Bueza is under the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) while Simando is with the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).

Leda San Luis of PDP-Laban is challenging Bueza while Marcelo Aragdon of NPC is challenging Simando.

19 filed their certificates of candidacy for Councilor. These include the six incumbents who are seeking reelection.
