The 2019 elections will be a rematch between Nelson Legaspi and Mayor Henry Ragodon. Legaspi was beaten by Ragodon with a little over 1,500 votes in 2016. Legaspi is running under the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino0Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) while Ragodon is under the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).

Vice Mayor Joel David Abante is also seeing re-election as Ragodon’s running-mate. he is being challenged by Venancio Regulado of PDP-Laban.

Four councilors are seeking reelection — two of these are under the NPC while the other two are under the Nacionalista Party (NP).
