Will Basud Mayor Adrian Davoco remain in his seat after the May 2019 elections?

Davoco, who is running under the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), is being challenged by Silverio Quinones III of the National Unity Party (NUP) and independent candidate Arnel Zepeda.

The vice mayoralty seat which is to be vacated by Jojo Quinones, is being eyed upon by three candidates — Ramir Barrameda of PDP-Laban, Edgardo Morales of NUP, and Helmar Rom, Jr. of Labor Party Philippines (LPP). Morales is an incumbent municipal councilor. Meanwhile, Barrameda and Rom lost in the 2016 elections for vice mayoralty and councilorial seats, respectively.
