It appears that after the May 2019 elections, the Hamors will continue to hold political power. Mayor Edwin Hamor is seeking reelection under the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC). He is being challenged bu Clodualdo Hibo who is running under the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).

The vice mayoralty race is also seen to be in the bag of Dennis Escudero who is running under NPC. The opponent is Bartolome Hagos who registered under the PFP banner.
