Will the 2016 gubernatorial election in Masbate repeat itself this 2019 elections?

For the 2019 midterm elections, the gubernatorial race will be between Kho and Lanete similar to what happened in 2016. This time, however, challenging Tony Kho of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) is the younger Lanete — Scott Davies Lanete — who will be running under the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) banner.

In the Vice Gubernatorial seat, the contenders are Marvi Espinosa Bravo under the National Unity Party (NUP) and Ara Kho (PDP-Laban).
