The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol reports one new confirmed case of COVID-19 bringing the total confirmed cases in the region to 88. Current active cases are 13.
A total of 64 test results were received by the DOH CHD-Bicol. 62 of these are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while two are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Among the 64 results, one is positive. He is a 31-year old Filipino male from Tiwi, Albay who arrived in Bicol from Makati City on June 11, 2020. Patient is asymptomatic and was swabbed by Albay Provincial Health Office (APHO). He is currently quarantined at an LGU Quarantine Facility in his municipality. Bicol#88 is the 1st confirmed case of COVID-19 in the municipality of Tiwi.
Breakdown of negative results: Albay PESU – 48, BRTTH – 1, BMC – 2, Catanduanes – 3, Masbate – 2, and Legazpi CHO – 7.
Bicol Region has two (2) suspects – one (1) from Albay, and one (1) from Sorsogon. The one (1) probable case is from Albay.

Total confirmed cases in the Philippines is now 30,052. Total recoveries is 7,893 while deaths are recorded at 1,169.
