In times when the Liberal Party (LP) is being shaken by the administration,  there are still a few who stood by its side. These include the Jalgalados of the Municipality of Capalonga, Camarines Norte.

Editha Jalgalado is seeking to replace Pretty Boy this 2019. Along with Editha are Lin Cay who is running as an independent candidate, and Luz Ricasio of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban). The all women-race to the mayoralty seat, however, is seen to be dominated by Editha.

In the vice mayoralty race, incumbent Vice Mayor Juan Enero is un-challenged. Enero has likewise remained with LP.

The LP also has a complete set of councilors. The three re-electionist councilors are with the LP ticket.
