Albay’s newest chess prodigy, 9-year old Bince Rafael Operiano, bags the championship title in the 2022 Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship in Bangkok Thailand over the weekend.
Bince, a son of a security guard, hails from Barangay Busac, Oas and studies in San Isidro Elementary School. He is expected to be conferred a Chess Master title when he reaches 10 years old.
