As of July 12, 2020 (8PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are two hundred twenty-seven (227).
A total of ninety-five (95) test results were received Sunday. Forty (40) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while fifty-five (55) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Of the 95 test results, four (4) are positive and these are all recorded from Naga. These cases are described as follows:
• Bicol#224 – a 10-year old Filipino female. She is a close contact of Bicol#111. She is asymptomatic.
• Bicol#225 – a 51-year old Filipino male. He arrived from Quezon City on July 1, 2020. He first experienced symptoms on July 4, 2020. Bicol#225 is a mechanical installer.
• Bicol#226 – a 40-year old Filipino male. He had a travel history from Dubai and Manila. He arrived in Naga City on June 26, 2020. He first experienced symptoms on June 7, 2020. Bicol#226 is a visual merchandiser.
• Bicol#227 – a 30-year old Filipino female. Her history of exposure is to be established. She first experienced symptoms on July 8, 2020. Bicol#227 is a frontliner in a barangay hall.
Breakdown of 91 negative results:
Albay – 12, BMC – 3, Catanduanes – 12, Legazpi CHO – 16, and CESO Naga – 48.
On recoveries
There are six recoveries recorded Sunday. Active cases are one hundred twenty-seven (127).
• Bicol#224 – a 10-year old Filipino female. She is a close contact of Bicol#111. She is asymptomatic.
• Bicol#225 – a 51-year old Filipino male. He arrived from Quezon City on July 1, 2020. He first experienced symptoms on July 4, 2020. Bicol#225 is a mechanical installer.
• Bicol#226 – a 40-year old Filipino male. He had a travel history from Dubai and Manila. He arrived in Naga City on June 26, 2020. He first experienced symptoms on June 7, 2020. Bicol#226 is a visual merchandiser.

Apart from the five (5) recoveries reported earlier, Bicol#93, a 21-year old Filipino female from Legazpi City, Albay has also recovered.

The one (1) suspect and (1) probable case in Bicol are from Albay.
