The Department of Health Center for Health Development – Bicol reports one new confirmed case of COVID on Friday, May 1, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in Bicol to forty-three (43). Two recoveries are also reported Current confirmed cases are nine (9).
The 43rd confirmed case of COVID-19 in Bicol Region is a 57-year old Filipino female from Legazpi City, Albay. She has a history of exposure to patient with local code Bicol#37. Her onset of illness was on April 8, 2020. Bicol#43 was seen and sample taken at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH).
On Recoveries
Bicol #26, a 17 year-old female, and Bicol #29, a 25-year old male, both from Naga City, Camarines Sur, are the new recoveries and have been discharged. The total number of recoveries is now at thirty (30).
