The local government (LGU) Virac in Catanduanes will implement a partial lockdown in Purok 3, Barangay San Isidro Village, Virac starting Mo day, April 20.
The action is a response to the first case of Coronovirus (COVID-19) in the province.
According to Virac Mayor Sinforoso Sarmiento, residents will not be allowed to go out of their houses for 14 days. “Errand boys” will be designated to assist the residents for their emergency needs.
The barangay LGU, meanwhile, is mandated to provide relief goods to the affected residents.
