In celebration of the International Mother Language Day, a conference on language and education will be held on February 24-26, 2011 at La Piazza Hotel and Convention Center, Tahao Road, Legazpi City. The 2011 Kabikolan Conference on Language and Education, with a theme “Edukasyon Pauswagaon, Sadiring Tataramon Gamiton”, will feature paper presentations, Bikol folklore presentations, food festival, and exhibits on art, music and instructional materials written in the local languages.
